Mosaic Fashions is the parent company of eight design-led fashion brands; Anoushka G, Coast, Karen Millen, Oasis, Odille, Principles, Shoe Studio Group and Warehouse.
The strategy of the company is to develop strongly differentiated and independent brands leveraging shared skills and infrastructure for services such as distribution, property, IT systems and accounting. The individual brands are managed as distinct businesses, each with its own team supporting product development, merchandising and retail operations.
In their home market of the UK, these niche brands are positioned in the upper-middle market and trade at different positionings from one another. Each brand has a strong personality and is differentiated by its product range, store environment and customer service.
- Anoushka G is a glamorous occasionwear brand with a reputation for "Hollywood red carpet glamour".
- Coast is a premium brand and stands out in the market by offering style conscious women of all ages a beautiful range of design-led, contemporary and well-made occasionwear.
- Karen Millen brings ‘designer-wear’ to the high street with a bold approach to clothing for the body conscious cosmopolitan woman. It is a luxury brand delivering high quality, beautifully designed clothing, footwear and accessories.
- Oasis is well established on the high street as an aspirational fashion brand. Targeted at fashion aware 18-30 year old independent women, it offers a broad spectrum of products comprising clothing and accessories including footwear, jewellery, bags and belts.
- Odille is an intimates brand featuring lingerie and sleepwear ranges and associated lifestyle products.
- Principles offers well cut, high quality products with distinctive designs and a diverse range of product including everyday womenswear (with the emphasis on smart/formal workwear), petite ranges, accessories, jewellery and footwear.
- Shoe Studio is a collection of seven brands, four owned and three licensed, each uniquely positioned to target a specific segment of the market, with ladies shoes accounting for the majority of the sales.
- Warehouse provides ‘design for the high street’ and is a brand that is aimed at 18-30 year old women who are knowledgeable about trends and fashion, appreciate design and quality, and are body confident, independent and love shopping.
The brands in Mosaic Fashions’ portfolio separately design, originate and procure all the merchandise which is sold in their stores. These ranges are sold through 1,605 stores and concessions in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the USA, through 169 Franchise stores in 37 countries and through 55 concessions in China through a joint venture.
Growth for the Group will be through the development of its brands organically, both domestically and internationally, as well as by expanding into new product areas. This development is underpinned by the Group’s ability to leverage key skills and experience to drive margin and cost-efficiencies as well as set strategy, allocate resources and manage performance.
